Oh, it makes me so sad. What a good dinner we had there in 2003. I wish my chicken parm was half as good. It's also had the strongest Rum and Coke ever made.
Don't know if you'll read this since it was back in March but this was the first time I heard the Gold Spike closed! My husband and I visit SF every year and we ate there a couple of times. Great old place. We like Capp's Corner too; similar place if you haven't tried it yet.
